I spoke with a American student
On Saturday, I spoke with a girl. She is an American student. She said that she had studied in VCU in the first year. However, she tranfered to another school because she didn’t like a big school. At a present, she is studying nursing and have a job. She is working for a hotel as a receptionist. This is a good job, but sometime she has stress because anytime the customers have problem about any things, they call to receptionist and complain. One thing I am very suprise is that she study full time and work full time, too. I asked her: “How can you do that”. “ye, it’s so hard. I do homework at work when I have nothing to do.”, she answered. I asked her :”how many hours do you sleep a day?” “8-9”, she answered. I am really admired her because I can not do like her. I also go to school and have a part time job. I also do homework at work. However, I only sleep 5-6 hours a day.
It is hard to balance full-time work and school. However, I think that people who have many things to do figure out ways to be efficient because they have to. Do you find that you do not waste time very much since you also have work responsibilities?
