The 4th converation
Hi! This is Azumi. I talked with my neighbor who is Mrs. Hoyt. I forgot her first name. She has been nice to our famaly after we came here. She has two children same as me and they also go to elementary school. She knows about kid’s school matters, so I always ask her whenever I have troubles about that.
Friday, Sep. 19th, I asked her who she will vote for the next president. I am interested in who will be, so I wanted to ask Americans about it. She told me she didn’t decide yet about it. She looked comfused about it. She said that she originally supports for Democratic and Mr. Obama is very good at speaking in front of people, but he didn’t mention his policy in detail yet. On the other hand, she liked Mr. Maccain before because he didn’t follow other Repablican politicians and followed his belief. However, he seems to follow Mr. Bush’s policy this time for her. So, she didn’t understand what he thought about his policy. In addition, she also didn’t understand why he pick up Mrs. Sala Palin with his running mate. She said that he wants to get women’s votes but many women are not so silly because they know the different policies between Mrs.Sala and Mrs. Hillary. So, they would not vote for her instead of Mrs. Hillary.
She told me that she looked forward to watching Mr. Obama and Mrs. Maccain’s debate in a few weeks on TV. She said that she would want to decide who she would vote for the next prsident after watching TV.
Honestly, I don’t know what different policies do they have in detail. So, I also will check that Tv program and will want to make sure who will be the next president. Moreover, I have’t talked about politics with her, so I was surprised that she knows about it very well and thinks about very much. I enjoyed talking with her.
