Hi, This is Azumi. When I brought my sons to practice baseball at a field, I talked with Brett’s who is older son’s team mate father for a while.
He is from Loanoke and came to Richmond ten years ago. He said he could not find a good job at Loanoke but he could get a good job here, so that’s why he came here. I asked him about financial crysis at this time. He thinks that American government will help some companies that faces financial crysis by giving public money. Next president must raise Americans taxes though he has promised not to raise taxes at his presidential campaign. He felt scary because he might have to pay more taxes. It means that American live are not unstable and be guaranteed for him. He seemed fear because nobody knows if American economy will be all right or not in the near future. If American economy drop down, world’s economy will also follow America’s one. Japan will be the ame situation. I also worried about Japnese economy would be worse. I don’t know why American government rejected bailout. He told me that it relates with vote. I didn’t understand what he said though he explained me about that.
He has four children. He is a not special father. American families often have many children. And fathers take care of their families very well. Many Amerian fathers can come to see their kids’ activities after work. They are totally different from Japanese society. In Japan, it is impossible to have many children in our families because the cost that we raise children is so expensive and we don’t have enough space to do so. Japanese fathers cannot spend time with their families after work. I think it has good effect for children to grow up better that they spend time with fathers not only mothers. Japan has got material wealthy although we have not got spiritual one. As long as I concern, American children grow up better than Japanese children. It is a serious problem for Japanese future that Japan will develop. I feel so strongly since I came here and saw many American fathers spend time with their children.
