Topic: Scientists hope to clone extinct species.
This article states that scientists in Japan used cells from dead mice which were frozen
for sixteen years to produce clone of mice. They were successful recently. Thus,
scientists think one day they may produce clone of other extinct species.
Question:
If one day, you (human being) can be replicated, is it amazing? Or it will bring a big
trouble to our world?
Vocabulary
(1) Resurrect: to start an old practice, custom, belief etc again after it has not existed for a long time.
(2) Permafrost: a layer of soil, in very cold countries, that is always frozen.
(3) Carcass: the body of a dead animal.
HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF THERE WERE ANOTHER “SMALL FLOWERS” IN THIS WORLD?
Hi I’m Azumi. It’s an interesting topic for me. If my clone would be created… It would be disgussting. And I think ,from a point of the ethics, to create clone should ban. Thank you.
